Rosary Rally for Life January 21st

Thirty Plus Gather to Pray

The rosary along with several other prayers and a few songs were offered for an end to abortion and in thanksgiving for the overturn of Roe V. Wade.

Michigan's Roe v Wade Memorial March

LANSING, MI, January 28, 2023 — Today the pro-life movement gathered in Lansing to remember the 63.5 million lives lost to abortion under Roe v. Wade and demonstrate to Michigan that pro-life advocacy will continue moving forward, despite the passing of Proposal 3. The event was co-hosted by Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising, Life Advancement Group, Huron County Right to Life, Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, Ave Maria Radio, She Leads Michigan, and Michigan Democrats for Life, among others.

In 2022, Michigan’s unborn had wins and losses. Roe v. Wade was victoriously overturned, but then Proposal 3 was tragically passed. Michigan’s public was deceived into supporting Proposal 3 by the abortion industry, which received funding from millionaires in states like California and New York. Now, more than 30,000 unborn lives are at stake this year alone in Michigan.

Thousands of passionate individuals in Michigan worked hard in 2022 to defeat Proposal 3. They are not overcome by its passing, knowing the fight for equality in the womb will ultimately be won. Today, people from all walks of life gathered at the Michigan State Capitol in Lansing, MI for a rally and march to send a message that Michigan deserves better than abortion.

Christen Pollo, Executive Director of Protect Life Michigan, stated about the march, “Right at the heart of the abortion war in Michigan, pro-life advocates gathered to remember the day that our nation ushered in a great evil that was ultimately overcome. And we will renew our commitment to protect life, no matter the unjust laws we live under.”

Pollo continues, "The year 2023 holds many changes for the state of Michigan, all of which put the health and safety of Michigan residents in jeopardy. We will not stop exposing the abortion industry’s vile exploitation of women and children until all lives are equally protected."

For Protect Life Michigan, the fight for life doesn’t end now that Proposal 3 has passed. Continuing to change public opinion on this issue is paramount to creating meaningful change.

Tri-County Prolife Youth Rally

March 12 from 2pm-5pm

at Open Door Missionary, Sandusky

Guest Speaker Rebecca Kiessling

In the 1960s, Kiessling's mother was raped at knifepoint and became pregnant. She was advised by her rape counselor that she obtain an illegal abortion in back alley clinics since the elective procedure was illegal by Michigan law at that time, and consulting a legal physician would have been costly. However, she was deterred from obtaining an abortion due to the unsanitary area and practices there. After she gave birth to Kiessling, Kiessling's mother gave her daughter up for adoption. At age 19, Kiessling met with her birth mother, Joann, who had told her that her biological father was a serial rapist.

The entire event is FREE! More information will be coming soon.
